I & I did a lovely job with our apartment. They were on time and on budget, which seems unheard of in the area. They also helped guide us through a few tricky jams that I don’t think most contractors would have the wisdom and generosity to extend themselves on. They took a lot of stress out of a daunting process and we are so happy with our new home.

I&I did a full renovation on my master and guest bathrooms, kitchen, and did some work on other areas of the apartment including installing light soffits, hardware and painting.   Working with I&I was great!  They set-up a we-chat to provide constant communication and updates and were easy to work with.

They obtained necessary permits, worked with my building management to coordinate moving materials in and out and protecting common areas.

They completed all the work on a timely fashion and with the highest quality of finish.

They may not be the lowest cost option, but this is for a reason.  They provide great total value as they provide high quality service and work at a reasonable cost.  I highly recommend I&I.

My husband and I, hired I & I Builders to renovate a bathroom and give a face-lift to other areas in our home. We had heard many horror stories about incompetent contractors who did poor work or who had left their customers with incomplete jobs after taking their money. So...we were very nervous about starting a job with any company.

However, when we interviewed the co-owner, Ilya and conducted a walk through of the areas, our fears melted away. He was extremely knowledgeable and answered every question/concern that we had. He made suggestions about the scope of work and we felt confident that he was the one to get the job done.

Once the first draft of the contract was written, we still had loads of questions and needed lots of clarification. Ilyas wife and co-owner Nina, worked with us on many drafts to make certain that everything we wanted was included in writing.

Once the job began, Ilya, Nina and their team were fantastic! They were punctual every day and made sure that we were kept abreast of every aspect of the job as it was progressing. Ilya was on site often and checked in with us to make suggestions, answer any questions and share next steps. The work progressed on schedule with attention paid to every single detail. The job was completed on time, on budget and with 100% satisfaction!!!

We will, without a doubt, recommend I & I Builders, to friends, family and anyone who wants an excellent renovation with an extremely competent, reliable and professional company. Thanks so much for a job well done!!!

My project was very complex - the combination of two two-bedroom co-op apartments in lower Manhattan, which required reducing the apartments to their pillars and reconfiguring the layout to serve the needs of a large, modern family. The plumbing and electrical had to be reconfigured and updated, which required a great deal of coordination with various subcontractors, the building's management and maintenance teams, the architect, and of course the New York City Department of Buildings.

Throughout the entire process, I & I Builders was available for daily communication, with weekly meetings and walk-throughs. They truly went above and beyond in ensuring that I was kept informed of every aspect of the project, and their impressively skilled, positive, and friendly crew was there every day to assist me.

Despite the many stressful and costly decisions that had to be made throughout the project, I always felt like a part of the team. I & I Builders listened to my concerns, held my hand when I freaked out, and was always straightforward with me. They addressed any issues that came up in a timely manner, and their professionalism and expertise helped to make the project a great success.

Thanks to I & I Builders, my family and I now have a beautiful, new space that has transformed the way we live. It was truly an amazing experience to work with such a dedicated and talented team, and I highly recommend them to anyone in need of a general contractor for their home renovation project!
